Actor of the Month
February 2002

Mews Small—Talent #35485
This month’s Trans Continental Actor of the Month is Mews Small, a very experienced
LA Actor with a lot of experience under her belt. Mews Started in the industry when
she was 19 year young when she got a part in the Dustin Hoffman directed play
“Brucie and Willie” in New York. Her career highlights includes roles in such films as
“Sleeper” directed by Woody Allen, “The Wild Party” by James Ivory, and “One Flew
Over the Coo-Coo’s Nest” directed by Milos Forman. Most recently she worked again
with Milos Forman in his latest film “Man On the Moon”; starring Jim Carrey.

Mews best advice for young actors starting in the industry today is to “get involved.
Get to know other actors and find out what they are doing.” Mews Small is a prolific
actress and with resiliency and a wit about the industry. Trans Continental is very
proud to have Mews featured in this month‘s Trans Continental Actor of the Month.
